Foundation, v1-beta.2

The foundation for LEGO® MOC projects, itself built using LEGO® pieces.

I needed a foundation for one of my LEGO® MOC projects. I made it and started decorating it.

The key idea of the project is still the image of agricultural fields from a bird's-eye view. This time, I tweaked the forest a bit and added a clay quarry.

First of all, I corrected my previous mistake with the forest—I replaced the colored parts on the tree crowns with green ones. This way, the forest stopped resembling a meadow and became more like itself.

Then I added a construction quarry. Clay is mined there using a rotary excavator and an auxiliary quarry bulldozer. On the other side, there is a highway (which turns into a bridge!) where dump trucks loaded with mined rock drive.

Please note that the axle of the rotary excavator is Medium Stone Grey. I searched high and low for this part in black, but to no avail. I will order it from the store later.
