The foundation for LEGO® MOC projects, itself built using LEGO® pieces.

I needed a foundation for one of my LEGO® MOC projects. In the previous version, I already achieved the desired result, but it looked boring. So I decided to decorate it.
As I said then, when designing the foundation, I wanted to convey the image of agricultural fields from a bird's-eye view (within the limits of the details I had). This time, I decided to continue with this idea and add additional details that can be seen from such a height.
The first two additions were a city and a forest. In the city, I tried to convey the following elements:
- a residential area with small houses
- a business center with tall buildings
- a factory with chimneys and cooling towers
Also on the left, some distance from the city, there is an astronomical observatory perched atop a cliff.
The forest, in turn, is represented by various types of trees. Yes, these are trees—there is even one particularly large one with a dense crown in the center. But I completely wasted my time adding colored details on top of the crowns! Because of this, the forest looks more like a meadow and thus disrupts the scale. I will fix this in the next version.
